A painting by "Chevalier" Louis-William Desanges (1822-1906) shows Surgeon Mouat and Charles Wooden attending Captain William Morris on the field of Balaclava. (There are photographs in the 17th Lancer file.)
[PB: Where is the original of this picture?]
[PB: I'm a bit puzzled about this picture. There is an image in the EJBA, to be added. But it appears to be much the same as one widely sold online as a print (e.g. by Cranston, which appears to be the same as the Military Print Company), where the image is attributed to "Hussaly", about whom I can find nothing. I emailed Cranston in November 2016 to enquire. They have not as yet replied. Does "Hussaly" copy paintings that are otherwise copyright? Is "Hussaly" an alias? Is any repainting involved, or are the prints taken from a scan or photograph of the Desanges original?
MJ Trow's The Pocket Hercules: Captain Morris and the Light Brigade, although illustrated, does not show (or even, so far as I know, mention) the Desanges painting.]
