Born in Limerick, Ireland.

Enlistment

Enlisted at Limerick on the 3rd of April 1847.

Age: 18.

Height: 5' 8".

Trade: Clerk.

Service

Embarked for the Crimea aboard the H.T. "Wilson Kennedy" on the 2nd of May 1854.

At Scutari General Hospital from the 23rd of September 1854 and sent to rejoin the regiment on the 3rd of October.

Death & burial

Killed-in-action at Balaclava.

Medals & commemorations

Entitled to the Crimean medal with clasps for Alma, Balaclava and Sebastopol.
