Born at Clonmell, Ireland.

Enlistment

Enlisted at Uxbridge on the 26th of December 1849.

Age: 22.

Height: 5' 9".

Trade: None shown.

Service

He was batman to Colonel Shewell before his promotion.

From Private to Corporal: 19th of June 1854.

Embarked for the Crimea aboard the H.T. "Wilson Kennedy" on the 2nd of May 1854.

Corporal to Sergeant: 1st of November 1854.

Sent to Scutari on the 5th of January and rejoined the regiment on the 11th of May 1855.

Died, "in Camp", in the Crimea on the 11th of July 1855.

Medals & commemorations

Entitled to the Crimean medal with clasps for Alma, Balaclava, Inkerman and Sebastopol.

Death & burial

Died, "in Camp", in the Crimea on the 11th of July 1855.
