Service

Joined the regiment in the Crimea on the 25th of May 1855.

Tried by a Regimental Court-martial on the 15th of December 1855 for "being asleep on his post." Awarded 28 days imprisonment, with hard labour.

Discharge & pension

Discharged on the "Reduction of the Regiment," from Brighton on the 24th of November 1856.

Served 1 year 138 days.

Conduct: "good". Not in possession of any Good Conduct badges.

Medals & commemorations

Entitled to the Crimean medal with clasp for Sebastopol.

Not recorded by Lummis and Wynn.
