Born at Manchester.

Enlisted (not shown where) on the 6th of December 1854.

Age: 20.

Height: 5' 6".

Trade: Weaver.

Service

Joined the regiment in the Crimea on the 20th of June 1855.

Sent to Scutari on the 10th of October 1855 and rejoined the regiment on the 1st of November.

Invalided to England on the 23rd of January 1856.

Rejoined the regiment on its return to England in June of 1856.

"Suffers from Scrofula and not being efficient for further service, and the Reduction of the Regiment."

Served 2 years 1 day.

Conduct: "good". Not in possession of any Good Conduct badges.

Medals & commemorations

Entitled to the Crimean medal with clasp for Sebastopol.

Not recorded by Lummis and Wynn.
