Enlisted at Leeds on the 12th of December 1854.

Age: 23.

Height: 5' 7".

Trade: None shown.

Service

Joined the regiment in the Crimea from Cork on the 16th of July 1855.

Embarked for India from Cork aboard the S.S. Great Britain on the 8th of October 1857.

The musters for July-September 1858 show him as "being Sick at Kirkee" during September, but no particular service movement is shown during the whole of the period.

Invalided to England on the 19th of March 1862.

Died "At Sea " on the passage home on the 17th of May 1862.

Medals & commemorations

Entitled to the Crimean medal with clasp for Sebastopol, and the Turkish medal.

Can find no trace on the Mutiny medal roll.
