At the time of his desertion from Hounslow on the 15th of August 1849 he was described as being of a fresh complexion, hazel eyes, and brown curly hair. He was then named as Peter Willson.
Died at Hounslow [sic] on the 17th of May 1858.
Entitled to the Crimean medal with clasps for Alma, Balaclava, Inkerman and Sebastopol.

His death certificate shows that he died in the Hyde Park Barracks, London, from "Disease of the Bladder" at the age of 22 years on the 17th of May 1858.
He was buried in Grave No. 18355 Section J. of the Brompton Cemetery on the 20th of May 1858.
The funeral service, from St Margaret's, was conducted by the Revd. N. Liberty.
