Born at Windsor, Berkshire.

Enlistment

Enlisted at Brighton on the 15th of February 1851.

Age: 17 years 10 months.

Height: 5' 6".

Trade: Groom.

Service

Embarked for the Crimea aboard the H.T. "Wilson Kennedy" on the 2nd of May 1854.

At Scutari General Hospital from the 22nd of September and sent to rejoin the regiment in the Crimea on the 3rd of October 1854.

Died "in Camp" in the Crimea on the 7th of November 1854.

Medals & commemorations

Entitled to the Crimean medal with clasps for Alma and Sebastopol.

Death & burial

Died "in Camp" in the Crimea on the 7th of November 1854.
