Birth & early life

Enlistment

Enlisted at Dublin on the 5th of July 1854.

No other enlistment details are shown.

Joined the regiment in the Crimea on the 14th of July 1855.

Tried by a District Court-martial on the 4th of August 1855 for "being asleep on his post. Awarded 50 lashes, but this sentence was remitted.

Death & burial

Died "in the Regimental Hospital" in the Crimea on the 24th of August 1855.

Medals & commemorations

Entitled to the Crimean medal with clasp for Sebastopol.

Lummis and Wynn do not show him as being entitled to any clasps.
