Enlisted at Maidstone on the 8th of December 1836.

No other enlistment details apart from his trade being recorded as "None" are shown.

To the Regimental Band on the 1st of August 1840.

Death & burial

Shown on the muster roll as "In Hospital" during October - November and "Died on board ship" on the 27th of December 1854.

Next of kin: Father, (name not known.) Living in Maidstone, Kent.

Medals & commemorations

Entitled to the Crimean medal with clasp for the Alma, and presumably that for Sebastopol as well, but no trace can be found on the medal roll.
