Enlisted at Newbridge on the 12th of July 1854.
No other enlistment details apart from his trade as a labourer are shown. Joined the regiment in the Crimea on the 29th of April 1855.
Served with the detchment of the regiment under Lt. Colonel De Salis in theExpedition to Kertch on the 22nd of May 1855.
Deserted from London on the 31st of August 1856.
Can find no further trace to 1879.
Entitled to the Crimean medal with clasp for Sebastopol.
The Returned medal book states: "Crimean and Turkish medals returned to the Mint. No trace of issue."
