Enlisted at London on the 24th of October 1837. [PB: LC says 1838.]

Height: 5' 7".

Service

Embarked for the Crimea aboard the H.T. "Shooting Star" on the 25th of April 1854.

Sent to Scutari on the 11th of December 1854 and invalided to England on the 10th of January 1855.

Can find no further trace to 1879.

Medals

Entitled to the Crimean medal with clasps for Alma, Inkerman and Sebastopol The medal roll shows "Medal to W.O. — 15/4/57" [PB: meaning?].
