Enlisted at Manchester on the 7th of December 1854.

Age: 20.

Height: 5' 8".

Trade: Moulder.

Service

Joined the regiment in the Crimea on the 20th of June 1855.

Sent to Scutari from the 16th of July and invalided to England on the 22nd of July 1855.

Discharge & pension

Discharged, "invalided," from Chatham Invalid Depot on the 1st of January 1857.

Conduct: "good. Not in possession of any Good Conduct badges.

Granted a pension of 6d. per day for a period of six months.

Living in Preston in 1857.

Medals

Entitled to the Crimean medal with clasp for Sebastopol.
