Embarked for the Crimea aboard the H.T. "Wilson Kennedy" on the 2nd of May 1854.

Sent to Scutari on the 20th of October 1854 and invalided to England on the 15th of May 1855.

Embarked for India from Cork aboard the S.S. "Great Britain" on the 8th of October 1857.

Discharge & pension

Discharged from Brighton "time expired", on the 16th of May 1864.

Served 12 years 20 days.

Conduct: "very good".

In possession of one Good Conduct badge.

Medals

Entitled to the Crimean medal with clasp for Sebastopol.

Mutiny medal with clasp for Central India.

Served at Kotah and Gwalior.

Lummis and Wynn state "no clasps", but he is to be found on the Sebastopol clasp
