Enlisted at Manchester on the 22nd of May 1855.

Height: 5' 9".

Service

Landed in the Crimea after the 9th of September 1855, but is specially entitled to the Crimean medal in consequence of having served with the Regiment in the Expedition to Eupatoria during the month of October of that same year...

Camp Aldershot. 16th November 1857.

Discharge & pension

Discharged, on the "Reduction of the Regiment," from Brighton on the 24th of November 1856.

Served 1 year 247 days.

Conduct: "good". Not in possession of any Good Conduct badges.

Medals

Entitled to the Crimean medal only. (See record of1941 Samuel Briggs, 4th Light Dragoons.)

Medal roll states, "Medal sent to W.O. November 21st 1860."
