Entitled to the Crimean medal with clasps for Alma, Inkerman and Sebastopol.
A memorial of either wood or stone was erected to him in the 13th Light Dragoon Cemetery on the road between Kadikoi and Karani, and in 1856 bore the inscription: "To the memory of I.B. Jones, IV L.D., who died 25th of March 1855."
