In action against the rebels at Zeerapore on the 29th of December 1858 and at Baroda on the 1st of January 1859.

Prisoner, and tried by a Regimental Court-martial on the 1st of July 1864, being "Derated" to Pte.
Transferred to the 7th Hussars (in India) on the 30th of November 1864. Regtl. No. 883.

Discharged, "time expired", from Canterbury on the 27th of December 1866.
