Served with Lord Raglan's Escort Troop in 1855.

From Private to Corporal: 6th of February 1855.

Corporal to Sergeant: 2nd of March 1855.

Discharge & pension

Discharged on the "Reduction of the Regiment" from Dundalk on the 4th of April 1857.

Served 5 years 62 days.

Conduct: "good".

In possession of one Good Conduct badge when promoted.

Entitled to the Crimean medal with clasps for Alma, Balaclava, Inkerman and Sebastopol.
