Born in London.

Enlistment

Enlisted at London on the 20th of February 1852.

Age: 20.

Height: 5' 8".

Trade: Labourer.

At the Scutari General Depot from the 20th of September and sent to rejoin the regiment on the 3rd of October 1854.

Sent to Scutari again on the 18th of December 1854 and was invalided to England on the 21st of January 1855.

Discharge & pension

Discharged, "by purchase", from Newbridge on the 3rd of April 1863. Payment of £10.

Served 11 years 47 days.

Conduct and character: "good".

In possession of two Good Conduct badges.

Medals

Entitled to the Crimean medal with clasps for Inkerman and Sebastopol.
