Corporal to Sergeant: 1st of October 1857.

Discharge & pension

Discharged, "time expired", from Cahir on the 15th of November 1861.

Conduct and character: "good".

In possession of two Good Conduct badges.

Medals

Entitled to the Crimean medal with clasps for Alma, Balaclava, Inkerman and Sebastopol.

Medal roll states, "Servant to Lord Cardigan."
