From his age this man had possibly served in the Army before.

Joined the regiment in the Crimea on the 14th of June 1855.

From Private to Corporal: 6th of February 1856.

Discharge & pension

Discharged, "by purchase", from Brighton on the 1st of August 1856 on the payment of £30.

Served 1 year 155 days.

Conduct and character: "good". Not in possession of any Good Conduct badges.

Medals & commemorations

Entitled to the Crimean medal with clasp for Sebastopol.

Not recorded by Lummis and Wynn.
