Born at Slough, Middlesex.

Enlistment

Enlisted at London on the 17th of November 1854.

Age: 18.

Height: 5' 6".

Trade: Labourer.

Service, discharge & pension

Joined the regiment in the Crimea on the 29th of May 1855.

Sent to Scutari in February of 1856.

"Deserted" from Canterbury on the 15th of September 1856.

Can find no further trace to March of 1865.

Medals & commemorations

Entitled to the Crimean medal with clasp for Sebastopol, and the Turkish medal.

Life after service
