Medals & commemorations

Entitled to the Crimean medal with clasps for Alma, Balaclava, Inkerman, Sebastopol, and the Turkish medal.

Further medal information archived.

Commemorations

A roll was published in the "Balaclava Centenary Supplement" of the Regimental Journal of the 17/21 Lancers in 1954 claiming to list all those known to have taken part in the Charge. Andrews's name was among these, but he is not known to have ever been a member of the Balaclava Commemoration Society or to have ever attended any of the veteran's functions, as might have been expected seeing that he was still alive until at least 1890.
