Joined the regiment in the Crimea on the 1st of August 1855.
Sent to Scutari in the 16th of October and rejoined the regiment on the 31st of October 1855.
Deserted “off furlo,” on the 16th of September 1856.
Can find no further trace to 1869.
Medals & commemorations
Entitled to the Crimean medal with clasp for Sebastopol and the Turkish medal.
Not recorded by Lummis and Wynn.

The 1881 Census returns show a man of this name born 1834 in Surrey, a bootmaker, living at 5 Dukes Court, London, with a wife Maria and two children Emily, aged 12, and Joshua, aged 7.
Death & burial

The GRO records show a man of this name dying in the Strand registration district in the December quarter of 1889, aged 55.
